By request, Kim Babington from SIU Credit Union, visited our CEO students again this semester to discuss budgeting. Kim discussed how financial goals impact a spending plan and how it is something that should be monitored on a regular basis. She also shared how a budget needs to be realistic and the difference between “needs” and “wants.”

Our students regularly learn from industry experts and leaders in our community and this was such an important topic - especially as all of our students are preparing for college.

Thank you again, Kim, for meeting with our students and sharing such valuable information and life lessons! We appreciate SIU Credit Union’s continued support of our program!
