Magnolia Woods Venue is owned and operated by Troy and Christi Stricklin. Today, Christi gave the students a tour and talked about how this once completely wooded 40 acres became her dream vision. A lot of hard work and dedication has gone into this property and the Stricklin’s have really made a beautiful off-grid space that is still a work in progress. They hope to have another tiny cabin located on the property soon.
With 6 weddings in Magnolia’s first 6 months of operation, the venue now has more than 20 booked for the current year!
Part of the unique experience they offer includes planting a Magnolia tree. Each couple wed at the venue gets their own tree to plant and today Christi let the class plant one as well!
