Today’s guest speaker was Mike Phalin, who shared his story of learning the value of hard work from a young age and serving in the Army before attending SIU.

While at SIU, a friend introduced Mike to the world of insurance sales, sparking his curiosity and eventually leading him into a very successful sales career. Mike also shared the importance of goal setting and having the determination to work toward what you want to accomplish.

Our students had the opportunity to ask lots of great questions and learn from Mike’s experiences along the way!
