Today’s CEO guest speaker was Chris Egelston, Community Engagement Leader with Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship!

Chris challenged students to think about their DISC assessments and how understanding different personalities and communication styles can strengthen a team. Students participated in engaging games and activities that helped them better understand one another and recognize how different communication styles can impact teamwork.

One key takeaway from Chris: “You need to be surrounded by people who are different than you, and recognizing the value of others is something successful people do every day.”

Learning to recognize, appreciate, and work with the strengths of others is an important part of becoming a successful leader—and a successful entrepreneur!
