Today, our CEO students had the opportunity to learn from guest speaker Brad McCormick! đź‘Ź
Brad retired in 2020 as Vice President for Business Services and College Facilities at John A. Logan College after an impressive 31 years of service in the Illinois Community College System. Since retiring, he has continued to share his financial expertise as a consultant and advisor, currently serving as Financial Advisor for the Illinois Green Economy Network. He has also served in leadership roles with the American Association of Community Colleges and on several boards.
Today, Brad spoke with our students about talents and competencies and the importance of understanding the skills, strengths, and abilities we bring to the table as we prepare for future careers and business opportunities.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brad enjoys outdoor adventures and cycling. In 2021, he and his wife, Sherie, completed a remarkable 4,500-mile bicycle journey from Astoria, Oregon, to Bar Harbor, Maine, fulfilling a 25-year goal! đźš´
Thank you, Brad, for sharing your experience, knowledge, and insights with our future entrepreneurs! We appreciate you investing in our students!
