Today, we welcomed Jennifer Vinyard as our guest speaker!

Jennifer shared insights from her career at Hospice of Southern Illinois and her experience in nonprofit management. Students learned about planning and executing events, securing financial and in-kind sponsorships, and the importance of building strong relationships with sponsors. She emphasized the value of making that first ask in person to establish connections and build trust.

We also discussed how networking and cultivating meaningful relationships can open doors to future career and business opportunities.
