Today’s guest speaker was former State Senator Dale Fowler, who is credited with being the individual who first brought the CEO program to Saline County! Mr. Fowler has served on the CEO board since its inception, and we are grateful for his continued investment in our students and our program.
Today, he shared his career journey with the class—from his humble beginnings working on a farm to eventually serving as a State Senator. His story was a powerful reminder that where you start does not determine where you can go.
Mr. Fowler also shared about his heart for helping others, which is evident through his involvement with foundation work and his compassion for those who are less fortunate.
One piece of advice he left with our students really stood out:
“Get to know everybody you can on your journey. You never know who will want you on their team.”
A great reminder for our students that relationships matter, opportunities can come from unexpected places, and every person they meet along the way could play a role in their future. Thank you, Mr. Fowler, for sharing your story and investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs!
